Microsoft have released their advance notification for the security bulletin releases for April. This month there are 17 bulletins scheduled for release, nine as Critical, and the remaining eight as Important.
One of the Critical patches being issued is for a vulnerability publicly disclosed in February (SMB Browser). Another patch, this time Important, will be addressing an issue publicly identified by Microsoft in January (MHTML).
Remote code execution vulnerabilities are being addressed in 15 of the bulletins, with the other two addressing Information Disclosure and Elevation of Privilege issues.
Product lines affected include Windows, Internet Explorer, Office (including OS X versions), and Microsoft Developer Tools.
