Too much Swap is not a problem though i think. It’s a waste of space but not actually something that causes bad performance or anything. If your ram is over 1Gb then you probably only need a swap if you use hibernate/suspend/sleep modes rather than shutting down properly but it will need to be at least ram size in order for the contents of ram to be saved to this handy space on your hard-drive. A little more than ram size is good. Twice Ram size means that when you get more ram you probably wont need to mess around resizing partitions

Hello my buddy,

with this comment I’m testing the Release Candidate of easyComment Firefox Extension Version 1.1
(more at [blog.bf-itservice.de]) which will have a bunch of interesting new features:

- Multiple Profiles for commenting, easy switching
- It supports every Blog I have tested so far, including yours, DISQUS and IntenseDebate ;-)
- Language mutation of message and url
- incredibly easy to use

Now that you’re eagerly waiting: It will be released during this week when I manage to upload it to addons.mozilla.org.

Hi

XP SP3 upgrade crashed me. I dont have my XP disc and my paid for prod key doesnt work on borrowed disc. In protest , I am moving to Ubuntu . But I have huge numbers of Windows app ( Financial Trading apps) to run. In ur approach , can I just leave a unactivated Windows XP installation using a random prod key , and just use my apps when i need to. ?

Will that be illegal? IN other words I am not running Windows XP , but only Windows apps.
