You know how difficult it is talking somebody through the resolution of a PC related problem when the user is a non-rechie. Often their description of the problem just makes no sense. Well, fret no more.

Screen sharing with Crossloop is here!
Crossloop seems to be geared towards providing a community of helpers who you can make contact with to sort out your computer related problems. These helpers are granted access to the users’ PCs via the Crossloop application. Andit’s this piece of technical wizardry that we can use to help our friends and colleagues with.
Downloading and installation is a piece of cake.
To share someone’s screen, the following needs to happen:
At any point in time both user and helper have the ability to terminate the connection.
I’ve tried Crossloop a couple of times to help someone out (”how do I zip up 10 Word documents?!“) and I have to say – it’s pretty good. Response time is good and screen quality is excellent. What makes this app even better is the pricetag. It’s FREE.
You really have no excuse for not helping your Grandma now. So you better keep this tool hush hush!
